Buckhead Motor Works At The Races!
At Buckhead Motor Works, keeping our customers cars in tip top shape is what we do during our working hours. When we are not found at our exclusive BMW only repair facility
located in Sandy Springs Georgia, we are at the race tracks of North America showing other motor sports enthusiast just how competitive we can be. Our racing of BMW automobiles began
in 1998 with the ground-up construction of a BMW 325i to race in the SCCA ITS class. This car has painstakingly been assembled using only top quality, original BMW parts and accessories. In addition
to the 'standard' equipment and specifications that must be adhered to in order to compete in this class, the car
has been race prepared with a tremendous amount of attention to detail and custom fabrication to achieve the best balance of performance and reliability. Tony Burdett, owner of Buckhead Motor Works, and team
Buckhead Motor Works driver, personally oversaw and participated in the construction of the race car and the
fabrication of many of its unique racing systems. For a first year effort, the car has been very competitive and
100% reliable, not experiencing any mechanical failures resulting in a DNF. We at Buckhead Motor Works are
proud of our racing heritage, and are thankful for the many, many friends and business partners that have participated in our racing program. We hope that you will come and see us compete, we are in top gear! |
